1st DAY: ARAD-DEVA-SIBIUArrival at the Hungarian-Romanian frontier of Arad (Nadlac) until 12.00, encounter with the local assistant and departure for Hunedoara visiting the “Corvins’ Castle” (gothic style), one of the most important in the Eastern Europe. Departure for the village of Sibiel, dinner among the colors of Transylvania, drinks included, and accomodation in hotel at Sibiu.
2nd DAY: SIBIU-SIGHISOARA-BRASOV-BRAN-PREDEAL
Breakfast, short sightseeing tour of the medieval saxon city of Transylvania and departure for Sighisoara, visiting the best-preserved medieval citadel of Romania with its Clock Tower from the 13th century. Lunch at the “Vlad Dracula” restaurant (birth place of Count Dracula) and departure for Brasov (1271) visiting the fortresses of the medieval city with its Black Church in gothic style. Departure for Bran, visiting “Dracula’s Castle” and arrival in the late evening at Predeal. Dinner and accomodation in hotel.
3rd DAY: PREDEAL-SINAIA-BUCHAREST Breakfast and departure for Sinaia (beautiful mountain resort surrounded by the Carpathians). Visits at: the Monastery of Sinaia and the “Peles Castle” (1875), one of the most beautiful in the world for its Renaissance style (Italian, English, rococo, baroque and Moorish). Departure for Bucharest, lunch in restaurant, sightseeing tour of the capital, visiting: the Palace of Parliament (ex House of the People of Ceausescu), the Patriarchal Church and the History Museum. Folk Dinner in a tipical Romanian restaurant, drinks included, (as a supplement), night tour and accomodation in hotel.
4th DAY: BUCHAREST-CONSTANTA-MAMAIA
Breakfast and departure for Constanta. Lunch at the restaurant Casino in Constanta, sightseeing tour of the city and the entire afternoon off at the Black Sea seaside at Mamaia. Dinner and accomodation in hotel. -evening off at your disposal-
5th DAY: MAMAIA-TULCEA-CRUISE IN THE DANUBE DELTA-TULCEA
Breakfast and departure for Tulcea (this ancient city is the main gate towards the Danube Delta). Embarking on the ship at 10.00 a.m., with lunch on board, unique occasion for admiring this splendid area of our continent acknowledged by UNESCO as “The King of European Rivers” and “Natural reservation of the biosphere” with over 300 species of birds. Return at 17.00 p.m. Afternoon off at your disposal for shopping, dinner and accommodation in hotel.
6th DAY: TULCEA-GALATI-PIATRA NEAMT
Breakfast and departure for Galati. Embarking on the ship for crossing the Danube and departure for Piatra Neamt, with a short stop at Marasesti. Lunch on the way, dinner and accommodation in hotel.
7th DAY: PIATRA NEAMT-MONASTERIES-BISTRITA
Breakfast and departure for the monasteries of Bucovina, patrimony of UNESCO. Visits will be made at the following monasteries: Voronet (the true jewel of Bucovina from 1488 with its memorable blue color), Moldovita from 1532 (famous all over the world for its frescos “The Last Judgment” and “The Siege of Constantinopole”), Sucevita from 1581 (built by one of the most important Moldavian noble families “The Movila”). Lunch in a restaurant at Gura Humorului, dinner and accommodation in hotel at Bistrita.
8th DAY: BISTRITA-MARAMURES-SATU MARE
Breakfast and departure for the region of “Maramures” (where the wood is a “modus vivendi”; the witnesses are the little churches in wood of the 14th century with their high towers). Visits at: the church of Barsana, Rozavlea and the “Happy Cemetery” of Sapanta (which comes in second in the top of the world wonders after the Kings’ Valley in Egypt). Lunch in a restaurant at Sighetu Marmatiei, dinner and accommodation in hotel.
9th DAY: SATU MARE-ORADEA-BORS
Breakfast and departure towards Oradea. Short sightseeing tour and continuation towards the Romanian-Hungarian frontier of Bors for the returning to your home country. -END OF SERVICES-
