The Black Sea coast is famous for its fine sand, its waters with low content of salt, very apropriate for the ones who would like to practice underwater submerging. The large beaches like that of Mamaia, are located eastward and offer the opportunity of exposing oneself in the sun for more than 10 hours without suffering any skin damage. The climate is temperate-continental and the air is rich in ion. The whole coast has a capacity of 127,000 places shared between the 1-2-3-4-5 star-hotels, villas, apartments and camps. There is also the possibility of choosing the balneo-thermal cures in the health-care centres from Neptun – Eforie Nord – Mangalia. Being one of the main touristic attraction of the country, during the whole year there are international festivals and important Romanian folklore shows here.
